Even if it falls in a hurry it seems gentle, because the sleepers are gentle

In honor of the first snow I’ve seen in Wilmington (the first snow the city’s seen in more than 1,000 days), here are some comfy, cozy poems to keep y’all warm. First up was Snow by ruthless Mary Ruefle — who gave us the line “me, who is already, in the snow, beginning to have sex in my snow-mind” — read by inimitable Emalee Gross.
